Dream Home 2023 Lottery Rules

There are 6,000 tickets at $100 each (DH1 – 1 to DH1 – 6000), 2,400 sets of 3 for $250 (DH3 –6001 to DH3 – 13,200), 1,100 sets of 5 for $400 (DH5- 13,201 to DH5 – 18,700), 500 sets of 8 for $550 (DH8 – 18,701 to DH8 – 22,700) and 300 sets of 30 for $750 (D30 – 22,701 – 31,700)   31,700 tickets total.

All draws will be open to the public and will be made under the supervision of at least two executive members (or delegates) of the licensed group.  Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by Wave Media Inc. and under licensing approval by the licensing body, Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC). Each prize draw will be conducted in accordance with the approved Raffle Terms and Conditions as put forth by AGLC. Draws are conducted using a Random Number Generator (RNG) system, certified and approved by AGLC. Winners will be announced at http://www.winadreamhome.ca and https://www.facebook.com/winadreamhome/. All winning tickets will be eligible for all subsequent draws. There are 17 prizes in total. Ticket buyers are eligible for all draws provided they purchase before any draw deadline.  In the case of a power outage the draw will be delayed until power is restored.  If not restored within 2 hours, the draw will be rescheduled and advertised to the public and ticket purchasers.

The Loyalty Draw will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 10:30 am at the Stoneridge New Horizon Co-op Gas Bar – 10402 67th Ave, Grande Prairie, AB T8W 0K8

  • Gas for a Year, valued at $2500 from New Horizon Co-operative Limited
  • Sales cut off will be Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11:59pm.

The 1st Early Bird draw will be held Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 10:30 am at the 2023 Grande Prairie Dream Home; 7959 Willow Grove Way, County of Grande Prairie #1 AB, T8W 0L9

  • A vacation package, valued at $3000 from UNIGLOBE Phillips Travel
  • Sales cut off will be Monday, February 20, 2023 at 11:59pm

When prize trips are won, the restrictions laid out by the Travel Agency (i.e. dates of travel, time frame, value) must be ensued and awarded as is.  Reference to restrictions are laid out below;

Trip for two to Mexico:

  • Package includes a trip for two to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico for seven nights in the 4-star Crown Paradise Club Puerto Vallarta, including round trip airfare from a major Canadian gateway, all taxes and fees up to a value of $3000.
  • If Puerto Vallarta is not the winners’ destination of choice, this voucher may be put into a credit file with UNIGLOBE Phillips Travel for a value of $3,000.00 for any other vacation package to be booked prior to April 30th
  • If at the time of booking, the vacation package chosen exceeds the value of $3,000.00 the traveler is responsible for paying the fare difference. If the package price is below the set amount, then the remaining balance will be forfeited.
  • The trip must be booked prior to April 30, 2024.
  • The trip package has no cash value, and is non-transferable to another person without the express consent of the Lottery Management and UNIGLOBE Phillips Travel.

The 2nd Early Bird draw will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 10:30 am at Revolution Kia, 11806 99 Ave, Grande Prairie AB, T8W 0C7.

  • A $25,000 gift card that may be redeemed at any Revolution Auto Group dealership towards any new in stock vehicle, based on MRSP, any credits or rebates back to dealer.
  • The $25,000 gift card has no cash value and is non-transferable to another person without the express consent of the Lottery Management and Revolution Auto Group.  (The Lottery Management and Revolution Auto Group must approve the transfer.)
  • Sales cut off will be Monday, March 13, 2023 at 11:59pm

The 3rd early Bird will be held Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 10:30 am at Sean Sargent Toyota at 10625 117 Ave, Grande Prairie AB, T8V 7N6:

  • 2022 Toyota RAV4 LE AWD 4 Door valued at $35,345.36 from Sean Sargent Toyota
  • Sales cut off will be Monday, April 10, 2023 at 11:59pm

The final draw will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 7:00 pm, or sooner if all tickets have been sold and approval is granted by AGLC. Final draw location will be at the 2023 Grande Prairie Dream Home; 7959 Willow Grove Way, County of Grande Prairie #1, Ab T8W 0L9. Prizes drawn for in the following order:

Tickets will not be sold to persons under the age of 18. Ticket Sellers will advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under 18 years of age on the ticket. Only one method of payment will be accepted per order.  All sets of multiple tickets must contain the same information. Tickets will be sold and advertised within the Province of Alberta however this does not exclude people coming into the province to purchase tickets.  Ticket orders online and via telephone may only be processed for Alberta residents. In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to the first name appearing on the ticket. The licensed charity and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose name appear on the ticket.

Members of the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie are allowed to purchase tickets. The Raffle Ticket Manager, staff of Wave Media Inc. and immediate family members (spouse, parent, son, daughter, brother, sister or the spouse of any of these individuals) will be prohibited from purchasing lottery tickets.

Gift certificates for retailers involved in draws shall be used for merchandise in their place of business; no cash will be given.  All gift certificates are valid for a minimum of one year from date of draw.  All prizes, gift cards and gift certificates must be accepted as awarded with no other cash option. GST included in retail value in all prizes.

All prizes are deemed “new” by retailers involved even when and including if used as a demo at the Dream Home. Prizes shall be accepted “as is”.  The Dream Home will be awarded “as is” with no exceptions to the winner after it is professionally cleaned, and minor repairs have been made (if necessary).

The Dream Home Lottery will attempt to notify all winners for 3 months from the time of the draw. The Dream Home winner will be notified by phone and/or email and or mail. The mail will require the signature of the ticket holder as proof of notification.  All winners will have 3 months from the draw date to claim their prize.  It is the sole responsibility of the winner to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within 3 months of the draw date, from the Lottery Office, the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie will request the permission of AGLC to donate the prize back to their office and use it for another event. All prizes may be claimed by showing the winning portion of the ticket &/or government issued photo identification.

Prize pick up for all prizes will be the sole responsibility of the winner. The Dream Home Lottery will not be responsible for the delivery of any of the prizes. All large item prizes must be claimed at the Dream Home or Dream Home office location.   If a request is made to mail prizes to the Winner, the Dream Home Lottery is in no way responsible for the item if it is lost in the mail. It is the winner’s responsibility to pay for the shipping of any item and it is their responsibility to arrange shipping. In order for a prize to be mailed to a winner, they will first have to provide in person or e-mail a copy of a Prize Release form to the Lottery office. They will be required to sign a release form referring to the points outlined in this document. The Lottery will not solicit sponsors for a replacement prize. In the event of a dispute the terms and conditions of this document will be the governing decision to resolve the issue. The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie accepts no liability associated with any loss or damages to individuals or property in any way associated with any prize.

Tickets cannot be refunded.

The Dream Home Lottery will request an extension on the 2023 Lottery if we have not reached our break-even point as of the final ticket sales cut off date of Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 11:59pm.

All gift certificates, trips and events prizes are subject to the conditions set out by the individual business supplying the prize and are detailed in this document.

 

Cash Jackpot 50-50™ 2023 Raffle Rules

Tickets will be sold at 150 for $10 each (CJ1-1 to CJ1-150) 1,500 sets of three for $25 (CJ3-151 to CJ3-4,650) 1,800 sets of five for $40 (CJ5-4,651 to CJ5-13,650), 5,185 sets of 15 for $50 (J15-13,651 to J15-91,425) and 5,730 sets of thirty for $75 (C30-91,426 to C30-263,325) for a total of 263,325 tickets printed.

The draw will be held on Wednesday, May 3 2023 at 7:00 pm, or sooner if all tickets have been sold and approval is granted by AGLC. This draw will be held at the Grande Prairie Dream Home; 7959 Willow Grove Way, County of Grande Prairie #1, Ab T8W 0L9.  An extension of this date will only be requested should not enough tickets be sold to cover prize costs and expenses.  There is one prize of 50% of total ticket sales.  Sales cut off will be Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 11:59pm.

All draws will be open to the public and will be made under the supervision of at least two executive members (or delegates) of the licensed group.  Prize draws follow a strict set of procedures, with draw control oversight by Wave Media Inc. and under licensing approval by the licensing body, Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC). Each prize draw will be conducted in accordance with the approved Raffle Terms and Conditions as put forth by AGLC. Draws are conducted using a Random Number Generator (RNG) system, certified and approved by AGLC. Winners will be announced at http://www.winadreamhome.ca and https://www.facebook.com/winadreamhome/. Cash Cow Calendar 2023 Raffle Rules

Tickets will be sold at 100 for $20 each (CC1-1 to CC1-100),  150 sets of 3 for $40 (CC3-101 to CC3-550), 5,970 sets of 5 for $50 (CC5-551 to CC5-30,400) and 1,695 set of 30 for $100 (C30-30,401 to C30-81,250) for a total of 81,250 tickets printed.

Starting Monday May 8, 2023 through Tuesday May 30, 2023 a prize of $3,000 cash will be awarded each Monday except Monday, May 22nd (Victoria Day Holiday). On Tuesdays we will award a prize of $3,000 cash except Tuesday May 30 (Grand Prize Draw).  On Wednesdays we will award a prize of $3,000 cash, on Thursdays we will award a prize of $3,000 cash and on Fridays we will award a prize of $10,000 cash. Tuesday May 30th the final prize of $30,000 cash will be awarded.  Additionally, each winner will also receive a $50 gift card from Keddie’s Tack & Western Wear.  The number of prizes will be 3 x (Mondays), 4 x (Tuesdays), 3 x (Wednesdays), 3 x (Thursdays), 3 x (Fridays) plus 16 x $50 gift cards for a total of 16 prizes for an overall value of $96,800. There is no cash in lieu option for the Gift Cards. Prizes are awarded as is.

Starting May 8, 2023 winners will be announced weekdays on local media, www.winadreamhome.ca and social media.  Winners will be notified by phone. Cheques will be mailed to the purchaser and issued in the name of the ticket holder. Please allow a minimum of 4 weeks from respective prize date for delivery of cheques.
