All three lottery rules and regulations are below.

Rotary Club of Grande Prairie Dream Home Lottery 2015 Raffle Rules & Regulations

There are 8,000 tickets at $100 each (8000 – White), 3,500 sets of 3 for $250 (10,500 – Green), and 900 sets of 5 for $400 (4,500 – Purple). 23,000 tickets total.

All tickets drawn for each prize will be eligible for subsequent draws and returned to the draw barrel unless when drawing for identical prizes. All draws will be open to the public and take place at the Dream Home office; 7942 Carriage Lane Drive, Grande Prairie, T8X 0G4.   The final draw location will be at the Dream Home, 11225 Belgrave Road, Grande Prairie, T8X 0G4. All draws will be made under the supervision of at least one executive member of the licensed group and one member of the public who are not members of the licensed group. There are 73 prizes in total. Ticket buyers are eligible for all draws provided they purchase before any draw deadline.

Loyalty Draw and Early Bird Draws 1 – 3

The Loyalty Draw will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at 10:30 am:

  • The prize will be a package valued at $2220 and include a $1000 gift card from Prairie Mall, $500 gift card from Vine Luxury Spa, and a $720 gift card from Holiday Inn & Suites Grande Prairie Conference Centre.
  • Sales cut off will be Sunday,       February 1, 2015 at midnight

The 1st Early Bird draw will be held Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 10:30 am, prizes in the following order:

  • A vacation package to Tahiti, valued at $8000.00
  • 25 pairs of Bud Country Fever passes valued at $378 / pair.
  • Sales cut off will be Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Midnight

The 2nd Early Bird will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 10:30 am, prizes in the following order:

  • 2014 Ford Focus SE 4 Door Sedan valued at $23,692.20
  • 25 pairs of Bud Country Fever passes valued at $378/pair.
  • Sales cut off will be Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Midnight

The 3rd early Bird will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:30 am, prizes in the following order:

  • 2015 FWD GMC Terrain SUV valued at $32,315.00
  • Five pairs of Bud Country Fever VIP Weekend Passes valued at $1100 / pair.
  • Two one day Bud Country Fever VIP Corporate Tents valued at $6000 per. (Friday & Saturday)
  • Sales cut off will be Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Midnight

The final draw will be held on Thursday June 4, 2015 at 7:00pm, or sooner if all tickets have been sold and approval is granted by AGLC. Prizes drawn for in the following order:

  • Sales cut off will be Sunday evening, May 31, 2015 at midnight.

Tickets will not be sold to persons under the age of 18. Ticket Sellers will advise adult ticket buyers not to write the name of a person under 18 years of age on the ticket. Only one method of payment will be accepted per order. All sets of multiple tickets must contain the same information. Tickets will be sold and advertised within the Province of Alberta. This does not exclude people coming into the province to purchase tickets. In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to the first name appearing on the ticket.   The licensed charity and AGLC are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose name appear on the ticket.

Members of the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie are allowed to purchase tickets. The Raffle Manager, staff of Wave Media Inc. and immediate family members (spouse, parent, son, daughter, brother, sister or the spouse of any of these individuals) will be prohibited from purchasing lottery tickets.

When prize trips are won, the restrictions laid out by the Travel Agency (i.e. dates of travel, time frame, value) must be ensued and awarded as is. Reference to restrictions laid out below in #15.

Gift certificates for retailers involved in draws shall be used for merchandise in their place of business; no cash will be given. All Gift Certificates are valid for a minimum of one year from date of draw. All prizes, gift cards and gift certificates must be accepted as awarded with no other cash option. GST included in retail value in all prizes.

All prizes are deemed “new” by retailers involved even when and including if used as a demo at the Dream Home. Prizes shall be accepted “as is”. The Dream Home will be awarded “as is” with no exceptions to the winner after it is professionally cleaned and minor repairs have been made (if necessary).

The Dream Home Lottery will attempt to notify the winner of the Dream Home for one year from the time of the draw. The winner will be notified by phone and by registered mail. The registered mail will require the signature of the ticket holder as proof of notification. All other winners will have 1 year from the draw date to claim their prize. It is the sole responsibility of the winner to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within 1 year of the draw date, from the Lottery Office, the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie will request the permission of AGLC to donate the prize back to their office and use it for another event.   All prizes must be claimed by showing the winning portion of the ticket &/or government issued photo identification.

Prize pick up for all prizes will be the sole responsibility of the winner. The Dream Home Lottery will not be responsible for the delivery of any of the prizes. All large item prizes must be claimed at the Dream Home or Dream Home office location.   If a request is made to mail prizes to the Winner, the Dream Home Lottery is in no way responsible for the item, if it is lost in the mail. It is the winner’s responsibility to pay for the shipping of any item and it is their responsibility to arrange shipping. In order for a prize to be mailed to a winner, they will first have to fax or e-mail a copy of a Prize Release form to the Lottery office. They will be required to sign a release form referring to the points outlined in this document   The Lottery will not solicit sponsors for a replacement prize.   In the event of a dispute the terms and conditions of this document will be the governing decision to resolve the issue.   The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie accepts no liability associated with any loss or damages to individuals or property in any way associated with any prize.

Tickets cannot be refunded.

The Dream Home Lottery will request an extension on the 2015 Lottery if we have not reached our break-even point as of the final draw date to take place on May 4, 2015.

All gift certificates, trips and events prizes are subject to the conditions set out by the individual business supplying the prize and are detailed in this document.

Point 15: Travel package details.

Trip for two to Tahiti:

  • Includes a trip to Tahiti (French Polynesia) for seven days including return airfare from a major Canadian gateway or Grande Prairie, seven nights’ accommodation, all taxes and fees up to a value of $8000.
  • Winner may also choose to take a seven day or longer cruise on ms Paul Gauguin which sails exclusively in French Polynesia (Tahiti), all taxes and fees up to a value of $8000.
  • The trip must be booked before Wednesday, March 12, 2016.

Trip for two to Mexico

  • Package includes a trip for two to Cancun/Mayan Riviera in Mexico for seven days in an all-inclusive resort including return airfare from a major Canadian gateway or Grande Prairie, seven nights’ accommodation, all taxes and fees up to a value of $3000.
  • The trip must be booked prior to Wednesday June 4, 2016.

For both of the above packages:

  • The trip packages have no cash value, and are non-transferable to another person without the express consent of the Lottery management and V the Vacation Store. (The Lottery management and V the Vacation Store must approve the transfer)

Cash Jackpot 50-50 Raffle Rules & Regulations

Tickets will be sold at $10 each (300 – yellow) 3,200 sets of 3 for $25 (9,600 – orange), and 6675 sets of 5 for $40 (33,375 – pink) for a total of 43,275 tickets printed.

The draw will be held on Thursday, June, 4, 2015 at 7:00 pm, or sooner if all tickets have been sold and approval is granted by AGLC. This draw will be held at the Grande Prairie Dream Home; 11225 Belgrave Road, (Carriage Lane Estates) Grande Prairie, AB, T8X 0G4. An extension of this date will only be requested should not enough tickets be sold to cover prize costs and expenses. There is one prize of 50% of total ticket sales with a guaranteed minimum payout of $70,000. Sales cut off will be Sunday evening, May 31, 2015 at midnight

All draws will be made under the supervision of at least one executive member of the licensed group and one member of the public who are not members of the licensed group.

If the winner cannot be located after this period, the prize will be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC). If a winning ticket has more than one name, the licensee will award the prize to the purchaser. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to allocate winnings for gift and/or group purchases. The Licensee and AGLC are not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise from the different individuals.

Members of the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie are permitted to purchase tickets. The Raffle Manager, staff of Wave Media Inc. and immediate family members (spouse, parent, son, daughter, brother, sister or the spouse of any of these individuals) will be prohibited from purchasing lottery tickets.

Tickets cannot be refunded.

 

Cash Cow Calendar 2015 Raffle Rules & Regulations

Tickets will be sold at $20 each (250 – spotted brown) 6,500 sets of 3 for $50 (19,500 – spotted black) for a total of 19,750 tickets printed.

Every Monday through Thursday in May, 2015 we will award a prize of $1000 cash along with four “Weekend Passes” to Pomeroy Guitars & Wagons. On Fridays we will award a prize of $10,000 cash along with four “All Event Passes” to Pomeroy Guitars & Wagons. Total prizes will be 16 weekday and five Friday.        Total 21 prizes.  “Weekend passes” are valued at $160 per set of four. “All Event Passes” are valued at $600 per set of four. There is no “Cash In Lieu” for the Pomeroy Guitars & Wagons, however if a winner doesn’t claim the prize in time for the 2015 event – they will instead receive equal prizes for the 2016 event.

The draw will be held on Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 at 3:00 pm, or sooner if all tickets have been sold and approval is granted by AGLC. This draw will be held at the Grande Prairie Dream Home office, 7942 Carriage Lane Drive, Grande Prairie, T8X 0G4.       Sales cut off will be Sunday evening, April 26, 2015 at midnight. The draw will be held in the following order: Mondays through Thursdays in calendar order, followed by all five Fridays in calendar order. Winners may not win identical prizes twice. After the $1000 & event ticket winners are drawn, all tickets will be returned back into the draw barrel for the $10,000 & event tickets draws.

Pomeroy Guitars & Wagons event tickets may be picked up at the Dream Home office or mailed. If a request is made to mail Pomeroy Guitars & Wagons tickets to the Winner, the Lottery is in no way responsible for the item, if it is lost in the mail. In order for a prize to be mailed to a winner, they will first have to fax or e-mail a copy of a Prize Release form to the Lottery office. All winners have one year from the date of the respective prize date to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be located after this period, the prize will be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission (AGLC).
