Sales dates for tickets will be announced soon.

What methods of payment are accepted?

Cheque, Money Order, VISA, and MasterCard.   Direct Debit or cash is only available at the Dream Home and the Prairie Mall locations.

How do I get in the Loyalty Draw?

Anyone who purchases a Dream Home ticket before deadline of  TBA, is automatically in the Loyalty Draw.   This includes the Party Pack or any combination of Dream Home tickets.

What is the mailing address to purchase tickets?

Box 21320, Grande Prairie AB, T8V 6W7.

Is there an age restriction on purchasing tickets?

Yes. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

If I am not a resident of Alberta can I still purchase a ticket?

Yes, anyone in the world can win,  however the sale must take place in the province of Alberta.

How long does it take to receive a ticket confirmation in the mail?

In 2020 we will email you your tickets within a week.  Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for your ticket stub to be mailed via Canada Post. If you order your ticket(s) online, at the Home or Prairie Mall you will be emailed a receipt immediately after your purchase and then the official ticket will follow in 2  – 3 weeks. You do not need to hold on to your stub, this is just for your information.

If I purchase/order tickets will they be in the draw barrel for the next draw?

Yes.  All draw cut-offs are several days prior to the draw.   This allows us time to collect and process and ensure all tickets are in the draw barrel before the actual draw.  Your ticket stubs get mailed to you within 2 – 3 weeks,  but as long as you order or purchase prior to midnight day of the cut off,  you will be in the draw barrel.

Is the ticket tax deductible/do you get a tax receipt?

No, there is no tax receipt issued as Revenue Canada deems that the purchase of a ticket is not a donation. All lottery winnings are tax free.

How many names can be put on a ticket?

Each ticket or ticket in a set must contain the same information.   If you wish to split sets of tickets (such as within an office setting) you should devise a document that explains which ticket number belongs to each individual or you may wish to use this Group Purchase Form.  Lottery management is not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise between multiple purchasers.

Can a ticket be refunded?

Due to the nature of the lotteries business we regret we cannot provide refunds.

When will the winners names be available?

The winners list will be published on the Dream Home Lottery website www.winadreamhome.ca within 2 days of the final draw.

How will winners be notified?

All winners will be notified by the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie by telephone by Dream Home Lottery representatives about what they have won and how to claim the prize. If a winner cannot be notified after a period of one year from the draw date, the prize or equivalent cash value will be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission.

Are ticket purchasers eligible for all prizes?

Yes, provided the tickets are purchased before any draw deadline. After each Early Bird draw the winning ticket will be returned to the drum and is eligible for all remaining prizes.

Do prizes have to be accepted “as is”?

Prizes must be accepted as awarded. There will be no cash “in lieu of” option. Restrictions apply for the travel prizes.  Please see complete Rules and Regulations.
