All winners will be notified in writing and in some cases by telephone, of what they have won and how to claim their prize. All winning names and prizes will be posted on the website at www.winadreamhome.ca after all draws have been completed.
Raffle Rules & Regulations
1. Lottery tickets shall not be sold to any persons under the age of 18 years. We understand that we cannot enforce individuals not to place the name of a minor on a Dream Home Ticket. Ticket sellers will advise individuals that they should not place the name of a minor on a ticket due to legal implications that may/ will arise if the minor(s) name is drawn. Tickets will be sold and advertised within the Province of Alberta. This does not exclude people coming into the province to purchase tickets.
2. There are 17,000 tickets at $100 each (6600 – White), 2500 sets of 3 for $250 (7500 – Green), and 580 sets of 5 for $400 (2900 – Purple). There are 72 prizes in total. Ticket buyers are eligible for all draws provided they purchase before any draw deadline. Cheques will not be accepted after June 19, 2013.
NOTICE ADVISORY: In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the licensed charity shall award the prize to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. (The first name appearing on the ticket) and the licensed charity and A.G.L.C are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose name appear on the ticket.
3. Loyalty Draw and Early Bird Draws 1 – 3
The Loyalty Draw will be held on:
• Friday, March 1, 2013, at 10:30am. The prize will be a vacation package to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico valued at $3000.00
• Sales cut off will be Sunday, February 24, 2013, at midnight
The 1st Early Bird draw will be held on the below date in the following order:
• Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 10:30am. The prize will be $5000 Summer / Backyard package. Value is $5239.30
• 50 pairs of Bud Country Fever passes valued at $330/pair.
• Sales Cut off will be Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Midnight

The 2nd Early Bird will be held on the below date in the following order:
• Friday, May 3, 2013 at 10:30am. The prize will be a 2012 Ford Focus 4-Door Sedan SE valued at $24,516.45
• 5 pairs Bud Country Fever VIP Weekend passes valued at $1,100 per pair.
• Sales cut off will be Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Midnight
The 3rd early Bird will be held on the below date in the following order:
• Friday, June 7, 2013 at 10:30am. The prize will be a 2013 GMC Terrain FWD 4dr SLE-1 valued at $32,564.00
• 2 x Bud Country Fever VIP Corporate Tent for a day valued at $5,0000 each
• Sales cut off will be Sunday, June 2, 2013 at Midnight
All loyalty and early bird draws will be open to the public and take place at the Dream Home office;
7942 Carriage Lane Drive, County of Grande Prairie #1, T8X 0G4.
The final draw will be held on Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 6:00pm, or sooner if all tickets have been sold and approval is granted by AGLC. This draw will be held at the Dream Home. 7718 Oxford Road, (Carriage Lane Estates) Grande Prairie, AB T8X 0G4. An extension of this date will only be requested should not enough tickets be sold to cover prize costs and expenses.
• Sales cut off will be Friday, June 28, 2013 at 7:00pm
All draws will be made under the supervision of at least one executive members of the licensed group and one member of the public who are not members of the licensed group.
4. EXCLUSIONS ON BUYING TICKETS
The Raffle Manager, staff of Wave Media Inc. and immediate family members of all of the above will be prohibited from purchasing lottery tickets. All members of the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie may purchase tickets.
5. AWARDING PRIZES
The prizes will be awarded as follows:
• Each of the loyalty draw and early birds above on the date listed above as per point 3
• All other prizes will be awarded Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 6:00 PM in the following order:
- 1) Home and lot, valued over $1,000,000.00
- 2) Culligan H20 Canyon SE Hot Tub valued at $12,500.00
- 3) $5500 Ultimate Garage Package valued at $5592.16 (See point 17)
- 4) Relaxation Package valued at $1720.70
- 5) Patio Set valued at $1260.00
- 6) AFG 3.1 AT Treadmill valued at $1199.99
- 7) $1000 Gift Card from Watsons foto source
- 8) $1000 Gift Card from Woodland Home Hardware Building Centre
- 9) $1000 Gift Card from Costco Wholesale
- 10) $1000 Gift Card from Ernie’s Sports Experts

• All tickets drawn for each prize will be eligible for subsequent draws and returned to the draw barrel unless when drawing for identical prizes. Winning tickets for identical prizes will be excluded from winning another identical prize. Tickets will be placed back into the draw barrel prior to conducting the draws for other prizes.
• Prize pick up for all prizes will be the sole responsibility of the winner

WINNERS CHOICE
The winner of the Dream Home may choose to take Cash in Lieu, in the amount of $300,000.00. If the winner chooses to take the home, they may assume possession in three (3) weeks time. If the winner has not claimed the Dream Home prize within 30 days of the Dream Home draw date, they automatically win the $300,000 cash option. There will be no other choices in subsequent prizes.
7. WINNING TRIPS
When prize trips are won, the restrictions laid out by the Travel Agency (i.e. dates of travel, time frame, types of accommodations) must be ensued and awarded as is. Reference to restrictions laid out below in #16.
8. WINNING GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates for retailers involved in draws shall be used for merchandise in their place of business; no cash will be given. All Gift Certificates will be worth a minimum of $100. All Gift Certificates are valid for a minimum of one year from date of draw.
9. NEW PRIZES
All prizes are deemed “new” by retailers involved even when and including if used as a demo at the Dream Home. i.e. a hot tub running possibly for several months at the home will be the prize awarded and shall be accepted “as is”.
10. All prizes, gift cards and gift certificates except for the Dream Home must be accepted as awarded with no other cash option. GST included in retail value in all prizes.
11. NOTIFYING WINNERS
The Dream Home Lottery will attempt to notify the winner of the Dream Home for one year from the time of the draw. The winner will be notified by phone and by registered mail. The registered mail will require the signature of the ticket holder as proof of notification. The notification will state that the winner has 5 days to decide on the Dream Home or the $300,000.00 cash and he/she must appear, in person, to the Dream Home Lottery office to make their claim. If the winner has not claimed the Dream Home within 5 days of being notified, they will automatically receive the $300,000.00 cash prize.
The Dream Home will be awarded “as is” with NO exceptions to the winner after it is professionally cleaned and minor repairs have been made (if necessary).
If the winner cannot be contacted within 30 days, they will automatically receive the $300,000.00 cash prize. The winner then has 1 year from the draw date to claim the $300,000.00 cash prize. If after 1 year the $300,000.00 cash is not claimed, the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie will request AGLC’s permission to donate the prize to their cause.
All other winners will have 1 year from the draw date to claim their prize.
12. Tickets will not be refunded.
13. EXTENSION
The Dream Home Lottery will request an extension on the 2013 Lottery if we have not reached our break even point as of the final draw date to take place on July 3, 2013.
14. CLAIMING PRIZES
The Rotary Club of Grande Prairie accepts no liability associated with any loss or damages to individuals or property in any way associated with any prize.
It is the sole responsibility of the winner to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed within 1 year of the draw date, from the Lottery Office, the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie will request the permission of AGLC to donate the prize back to our office and use it for another event.
All prizes must be claimed by showing the winning portion of the ticket &/ or government issued photo identification.
The Dream Home Lottery will not be responsible for the delivery of any of the prizes, excluding travel vacations as booking arrangements must be made directly through Marlin Travel. All large item prizes must be claimed at the Dream Home or Dream Home office location. The hot tub prize does not include delivery or installation.
If a request is made to mail prizes to the Winner, the Dream Home Lottery is in no way responsible for the item, if it is lost in the mail. It is the winner’s responsibility to pay for the shipping of any item and it is their responsibility to arrange shipping. In order for a prize to be mailed to a winner, they will first have to fax or e-mail a copy of a Prize Release form to the Lottery office. They will be required to sign a release form referring to the points outlined in this document The Lottery will not solicit sponsors for a replacement prize. In the event of a dispute the terms and conditions of this document will be the governing decision to resolve the issue.
15. GIFT CERTIFICATE USAGE/ TRIP RESTRICTIONS & EVENT PASS GUIDELINES
All prizes are subject to the conditions set out by the individual business supplying the prize and are detailed in this document.
16. TRAVEL RULES:
Trip for two to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico valued at up to $3000 including GST.
Trip for 2 persons includes:
• Return airfare from Edmonton to Puerto Vallarta via Air Transat.
• Hotel accommodation at the Royal Decameron or Royal Decameron Los Cocos all inclusive standard room for 7 nights stay, and hotel taxes. (Resort fees sometimes apply but are payable by winner).
* Voucher is redeemable for one year from the draw date. Travel dates will exclude Christmas departures, Easter Departures and Spring Break (February Family Day long weekend)

AGLC Raffle Rules & Regulations

There is one prize of 50% of total ticket sales with a guaranteed minimum payout of $50,000.00
