TICKETS

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets are now on sale.  Please click here for details or to purchase.

What methods of payment are accepted?

Cheque, Money Order, VISA, and MasterCard.   Direct Debit or cash is only available at the Dream Home and the Prairie Mall locations.

What is the mailing address to purchase tickets?

Box 21320, Grande Prairie AB, T8V 6W7.

Is there an age restriction on purchasing tickets?

Yes. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years of age or older.

If I am not a resident of Alberta can I still purchase a ticket?

Yes, however the sale must take place in the province of Alberta.

How long does it take to receive a ticket confirmation in the mail?

Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for your ticket stub to be mailed. If you order your ticket(s) online you will be emailed a receipt immediately after your purchase and then the official ticket will follow in 1  – 2 weeks. You do not need to hold on to your stub, this is just for your information.

If I purchase/order tickets will they be in the draw barrel for the next draw?

Yes.  All draw cut-offs are several days prior to the draw.   This allows us time to collect and process and ensure all tickets are in the draw barrel before the actual draw.  Your ticket stubs get mailed to you within 2 weeks,  but as long as you order or purchase prior to midnight day of the cut off,  you will be in the draw barrel.

Is the ticket tax deductible/do you get a tax receipt?

No, there is no tax receipt issued as Revenue Canada deems that the purchase of a ticket is not a donation. All lottery winnings are tax free.

How many names can be put on a ticket?

You can put up to two names on a ticket. Should there be more than two purchasers; the purchasers must keep a record of who is involved in the purchase. Lottery management will not be responsible for any conflict between multi ticket purchasers. In the event of a winning ticket stub having more than one name, lottery management will award the prize to the first individual whose name is listed on the ticket confirmation stub. Lottery management is not responsible for resolving any disputes which may arise between multiple purchasers.

Can a ticket be refunded?

Due to the nature of the lotteries business we regret we cannot provide refunds.

WINNERS

How and when will the winners names be available?

The winners list will be published on the Dream Home Lottery website www.winadreamhome.ca within 10 days of the final draw.

How will winners be notified?

All winners will be notified by the Rotary Club of Grande Prairie by telephone by Dream Home Lottery representatives about what they have won and how to claim the prize. If a winner cannot be notified after a period of one year from the draw date, the prize or equivalent cash value will be donated to a charitable beneficiary approved by Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission.

Are ticket purchasers eligible for all prizes?

Ticket purchasers are eligible for all prizes provided they purchase before any draw deadline. After each Early Bird draw the winning ticket will be returned to the drum and is eligible for all remaining prizes.   Note, for identical prizes winners do NOT go back in the draw barrel until after all the same identical prizes are given away.

Do prizes have to be accepted “as is”?

Prizes must be accepted as awarded. There will be no cash “in lieu of” option except for Prize #1 and Early Bird trips with alternative cash value. Restrictions apply for the following prizes: Travel – “All travel prizes provided by Marlin Travel by Nash Tours Travel Group are valid for a period of time as per the raffle rules.” Lottery prizes are tax free and winners are not obligated to live in the show home.
